YANNI YI LAM NG

Yanni Ng is a Manchester-based theatre director from Hong Kong.

She enjoys creating work that subverts expectations, plays with form, and incorporates musicality and movement to explore social issues, often focusing on themes of identity, especially how we are shaped by what is around us.

She also has experience working as a freelance sound and lighting designer for theatre.

Yanni was previously part of the Sheffield Theatres Bank Cohort and is currently in the Royal Court’s Assistant Directors Pool.
