Jurassic
A vicious new comedy about disinformation and dinosaurs.
A late-night screening of a certain Steven Spielberg classic causes carnage on a university campus. What starts as a misunderstanding about the film quickly spirals into mass redundancies and bizarre conspiracies. The fight for academic survival is on! A ridiculous satire about fake news and fossils, written by Bruntwood Prize-winning playwright Tim Foley.

REVIEWS FOR JURASSIC
“Jurassic is hilarious, unsettling, and sharply contemporary: a battle not just about dinosaurs, but about whose version of reality gets to win. A joyful, exasperating, and painfully recognisable duel where no one deserves victory, and yet the fight continues inevitably.”
— Ariella Como for A Young(ish) Perspective (4-stars)
“With powerful and fully energised performances from the cast, Matt Holt (Dean) creates a villain who is oddly likeable and addictive to watch, which perfectly contrasts Alastair Michael’s (Jay) hero, a hero the audience supports from start to finish.”
— Siobhan Roisin for Theatre & Tonic (4-stars)
“Foley’s play clearly relishes in its absurd concept, and its infectious silliness makes for lots of big laughs.”
— Emily Lipscombe for TheSpyInTheStalls
“Jurassic is a boxing match of a play, drawing the world’s current quality of political debate into a daft, furious comedy of dinosaurs and destruction.”
— Kate Wyver for The Guardian
“This is an entertaining show, rich in knotty power plays. Foley’s script begins to pick at the ways in which arguments are spun and truths are warped.”
— Livvy Perrett for West End Best Friend
“Jurassic is undoubtedly very clever and downright silly play. If you are looking for a short play to see and love Jurassic Park this one is for you.”
— Michelle Knight for North West End UK (4-stars)
